Will Heslam carried his bat for a superb knock of 86no to help the first team recover from 25-3 to post 210-7 on Saturday vs Godmanchester Town and secure their first win of the season. 

A century partnership with Adam Webster helped set Godmanchester a tricky total on a damp track which never looked likely to be chased down, especially after some high quality bowling from Don Whyte and Steve Atherton.

In a rain affected second innings Godmanchester ended up 121-6 falling 46 runs short of the reduced total. 

Next weekend the first team do not have a fixture and the second team travel to Southill Park.
